How Many Eyes Do Bees Have?

Honey bees have 5 eyes! 2 of these eyes are called compound eyes, located on either side of a bee’s head. The other 3 eyes, called ocelli, are found on top of their head, above the compound eyes. Here we explore a little more about them and how they help bees to see!
